File setup guide
How to send print-ready wrap files
Follow these specs and your job moves straight to proof. Not sure a file is ready? Send it anyway. We check every file before anything prints.
Accepted formats
- Preferred
- Print-ready PDF
- Vector
- AI or EPS, fonts outlined, images embedded
- Raster
- Layered PSD or flattened TIFF
- Other formats
- Ask us before you send
Size, scale and resolution
- Build files at full size, or to scale (1:10 is common) with the scale in the file name.
- Raster images: 100 to 150 ppi at full size for vehicle graphics. Close-view graphics need more.
- Set documents to CMYK. Note any critical brand or Pantone colors in your order notes.
Bleed and paneling
- Add at least 2 inches of bleed on every edge of vehicle artwork.
- Send one file per vehicle side. We panel it to our roll width with overlap and show the layout on your proof.
- Prefer to panel it yourself? Send pre-paneled files and tell us your overlap.
Contour-cut graphics
- Supply vector artwork with the cut path on its own layer.
- Name the cut path spot color CutContour, set as a 100% magenta hairline stroke.
- Call us before ordering text under 2 inches tall or very fine detail.
Wall wraps
Wall film prints on 54" rolls and is billed at full roll width. Send the full wall size and we'll panel it, or send your own panel layout.
